Dan Osborn, EdD is the Executive Director of Project Mosaics, an education nonprofit dedicated to bringing stories of global Jewish diversity to humanities classrooms. Dan is a history educator, education researcher, and nonprofit professional specializing in creating multimedia teaching tools, humanities curriculum, and professional learning experiences. He has dedicated his professional life to the study of Middle Eastern and Jewish histories and advancing a vision of education that is multicultural, globally oriented, inclusive of marginalized communities, and relevant for life in a pluralistic America and a globally-interconnected world. As a student of history and education, he holds bachelor's and master's degrees from Quinnipiac University, a master's degree in Near East and Judaic Studies from Brandeis University, and a doctorate in education from Boston University. He is the author of *Dismantling Orientalist Representations in US Education: Schooling and Otherness in the Social Studies Classroom* as well as the memoir *Levantine Vignettes: An Educator's Account of Border Crossing in the Middle East* and is currently. He is currently writing his next scholarly manuscript, *Jews and Judaism in US Public Education: Race, Religion, and Representation*
